My name is Marcela I was born and raised in San Diego. I graduated as a Veterinary Assistant from PIMA in 2017. I’ve been in this field for two years but I have learned so much from great mentors. This job is very challenging at times but also very rewarding—I love my job.

I have two pets at home an 8 year old long haired Chihuahua named Bear, as well as a 15 year old Red Eared Slider turtle named Rocky. On my free time, I enjoy hanging out with friends, exploring San Diego, or going to Disneyland.
